AI Use and Data Handling
In accordance with the EU AI Act, minus10med uses AI only to refine grammar, syntax and British English in published text. All medical content, recommendations and treatments remain human-led and medically informed. Patient data is never used to train models and is protected by end-to-end encryption.
Where is AI actually used on this site?
AI language tooling is used for one purpose: to refine grammar, syntax and British English in text that a human has already written. It does not decide what a page says, which therapy is described, or how a finding is interpreted. Every page that carries clinical content is written or approved by a physician and shows a review line naming Dr. Erietta Galani and the date it was last reviewed.
Is AI used to diagnose or to recommend treatment?
No. No diagnosis, no prescription and no treatment plan is generated by an AI system. Where diagnostic software assists in reading images or structuring laboratory results, it is used as a decision support tool inside an accredited facility, its output is reviewed by the responsible physician, and the physician remains accountable for the conclusion. A patient never receives a result that a clinician has not read.
Is patient data sent to AI systems or used to train models?
No. Patient records, laboratory results, imaging and clinical correspondence are excluded from AI language tooling entirely. No health data, and no identifiable personal data, is submitted to a model provider, and none is used to train, fine tune or evaluate any model. The text passed to language tooling is public website copy only.
How are patient communications handled?
Patient and customer communications are handled in accordance with the GDPR and protected by end-to-end encryption, with data encrypted in transit and at rest. Storage is on EU infrastructure, access is restricted to the people involved in your care, and retention periods follow Greek medical record keeping law. The categories collected, the lawful bases and your rights are set out in full in the privacy policy.
Who do I contact about AI use or a data request?
Write to hello@minus10med.com with any question about how AI is used, how a page was produced, or how your data is processed. We reply within one working day for general questions, and within one month for a formal GDPR request. Phone and address details are on the contact page.
